A influência das proximidade não-espaciais nas alianças de inovação

Abstract


As fontes externas de conhecimento são complemento importante para a base de conhecimento interno da empresa e acabam sendo fator crítico para o desenvolvimento de inovação. O resultado do acesso a fontes heterogêneas de conhecimento pode ser prejudicado pela falta de proximidade entre os parceiros. Essa proximidade vai muito além do aspecto geográfico, podendo ser cognitiva, social, organizacional e institucional. Inevitavelmente, existe uma inter-relação entre as proximidades o que viabiliza diferentes configurações de proximidades para alcance de diferentes resultados de inovação. A presente pesquisa busca compreender como as proximidades não espaciais compensam o distanciamento geográfico. A partir do estudo de caso da aliança de uma empresa de biotecnologia brasileira com uma empresa alemã para inovação, tem-se como resultados preliminares que a proximidade cognitiva se destaca nos aspectos de compensação da distância geográfica, porém as proximidades variam dependendo do tipo de inovação que se busca alcançar com o parceiro.
